Tierra Retreat Center inspires sustainable events and weddings by it's natural forest beauty, providing all the infrastructure for 150 person event, and by having a robust recycling and composting program.

  • Lush green evergreen forest year round
  • A variety of wildflowers and vibrant green shrubs in the spring

  • Wooden amphitheater built into the hillside with seating for 150 people
  • Hiking trails and huge meadow space for events and recreation

Infrastructure for 150 person event

  • Tables and chairs for over 200 people
  • Dinnerware, glassware, and fully stocked commercial kitchen 
  • Extensive decorations closet includes: wood rounds, burlap table runner, tea light holders, baskets, table number holders, signs, baskets, ice buckets, and much more!

Robust Recycling & Composting Program

  • Single stream recycling to include: paper, plastic tubs, cardboard, aluminum, and tin.
  • Plastic bag recycling: all clear clean plastic bags can be recycled to include ziplocs, Seran wrap, plastic produce and grocery bags. 
  • Styrofoam recycling to include hard & soft Styrofoam, packing peanuts, etc.
  • Wrapper recycling program: all clean wrappers to include: granola bar, candy, snack bags, and all other plastic wrappers. They must have all food removed and be clean
  • Commercial composting in the main lodge. All food items and paper products (napkins, paper plates, compostable silverware, etc.)
