Whether on site or off, Tierra is in the heart of a spectacular outdoors. Sunitsch Canyon is surrounded by Forest Service land and offers a number of trails to explore the surroundings. On site recreation includes basketball and tennis courts. There is also snow through the winter and plenty of slopes for sledding and miles of great x-country ski and snowshoe terrain.
The wider Leavenworth area is becoming a diverse and popular outdoor destination for climbing, rafting, hiking and boasts a beautiful golf course and community ski hill.
